1. Truth & Accuracy Above All
The core pillar of BYOJ is factual citizen reporting. Do not exaggerate, manipulate evidence, or present opinions as news. Provide clear photo or video attachments whenever possible to back up your claims.
2. Respectful Discourse
Harassment, hate speech, abusive behavior, and personal attacks on fellow reporters or members of the public are strictly prohibited. Focus discussions and comments on the issues reported.
3. Protect Personal Privacy
Do not share private personal information (doxxing) such as telephone numbers, home addresses, or identification documents of third parties. Focus on public-interest civic issues.
4. Local Relevance
Submit reports that are useful for local civic intelligence, like broken infrastructure, public health issues, environmental concerns, or local community events. Irrelevant spam or advertisements will be removed by moderators.
5. Moderation and Appeals
Our community moderators review reported content. If your submission is rejected, you can review moderator comments and edit the report to meet guidelines, or appeal the action if you believe a mistake was made.
